Alumni spotlight -Mahanaim College changed my mindset

I am Maina June Wamuyu, alumni of Mahanaim Educational Institute. Ever since I joined this Institute. I have had the best experience both spiritually and mentally. I came across Mahanaim in 2016 during a form four leavers camp which was going on within its environs. I loved the school from that day and waited eagerly to join fully come January.

Academics and Spiritual Life

I joined the school in January 2017 and pursued Diploma in Journalism and Media studies. It was very impressive because the school is equipped with a lot of facilities to ease the learning process i.e Good News Broadcasting system television station (GBS TV) where the students are able to go for practicals oftenly, a fully equipped radio station, video cameras and still cameras etc for outdoor projects.

I also had a significant spiritual growth apart from the academics. It has been a journey of a thousand miles that has delightfully driven me to my dream workspace.

Work Adventure and Mindset

Growth starts with an open mind and this means that your mindset sees positivity in everything. The school has mindset classes that enable one to think in diverse ways.

After my school life, I got my internship in the same space. Just like a mother the school has its best interests at heart for its students. Apart from Journalism I have been able to learn Spanish, Piano and Tae Kwon Do which comes as a free package to long course students .This has also made me an all rounded person.

What else would make you not to learn in such a school? I have no regrets joining Mahanaim Educational institute because I am Mahanaim.
